The Travis Family Website
This is a family site to showcase items of interest to the family. There is a gallery of photographs, including old family photos from the 1920's and 30's. The genealogy page shows family trees in web page format.
Background
This branch of the Travis family originated in Darley Dale,
Derbyshire, though I have only traced back to the 18th Century. Around
1872-3 the Family moved to Dukenfield, Cheshire, where my Grandfather -
William Edmund - was born.
In later life he moved to Yorkshire for work, where he met and married
my Grandmother - Eva - and then settled in Nottinghamshire, which is
where my father, then I, was born.
